❗✉️SCAM WARNING - FAKE OPTUS EMAIL✉️❗ Inboxes around the country are being hit by malicious emails appearing to be from Optus and using the domain ‘optusnet.com.au’.

These emails are sent in multiple variations but the format is similar, with most appearing in plain-text form, advising the recipient of a document for them to download via the link provided.
In most cases, the links lead unsuspecting recipients to a malicious file download.
As simple and as innocent looking as they may seem, these scam email attacks are happening all too regularly, and with devastating effect.
How to identify an email scam 👇
