The Augusta Community Resource Centre is currently seeking applications for a
Receptionist and Events Officer
under a traineeship program, commencing in March 2026.
Position Details:
- Hours of Work: Typically between 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility.
- Contract Duration: 12 months with growth opportunity for the right applicant
Key Responsibilities:
- Applicant must enrol and complete a Certificate III in Business (Customer Engagement) during the 12 month Traineeship
- Assisting with room bookings and functions
- Assist and participate in events
Key Competencies Required:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills
- Ability to work to instructions and engage with a mentor
- Initiative to work autonomously when required
- Capable of working effectively in a small team
- A WA Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle are highly desirable.
