The Augusta Community Resource Centre is currently seeking applications for a Trainee to undertake the role of Receptionist and Events Officer.

Position Details

Hours of work – 9.00am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

Contract: Duration of 12 months with growth opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Applicant is required to enrol and complete a Certificate III in Business during the 12 month period of employment. This course is fully funded at no cost to the applicant.
  • Learning on the job for all front counter administrative activities.
  • Assist with room bookings, end-of-day banking reconciliation and customer enquiries.
  • Assist and participate in events.
 Essential Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work to instructions and engage with a mentor to enhance knowledge.
  • Initiative to work autonomously when required.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Capable of working effectively in a small team.
  • Confidence and enthusiasm to learn and grow in the role.
